
Azal Blanco
Variety grown in the region of Minho, Portugal. The cluster is medium-sized, cone-shaped and medium-compact. The berry is large and elliptical. Highly vigorous, with a semi-upright growth habit. It has an early bud-burst period. Susceptible also to downy mildew, powdery mildew and botrytis. Adaptable to different training systems and pruning, although it prefers long ones. Very productive vine, it has an average-to-late ripening period. It produces wines with high acidity, fresh and citrusy, with slightly fruity aromas and hints of green apple.
