Azal Blanco
Variety grown in the region of Minho, Portugal. The cluster is medium-sized, cone-shaped and medium-compact. The berry is large and elliptical. Highly vigorous, with a semi-upright growth habit. It has an early budburst period. Susceptible also to downy mildew, powdery mildew and botrytis. Adaptable to different training systems and pruning, although it prefers long ones. Very productive vine, it has a medium-late ripening period. It produces wines with high acidity, fresh and citrusy, with slightly fruity aromas and hints of green apple.
