Coda di Volpe
Vine variety is widespread in Campania and is so called (Fox Tail) for the curvature of the terminal part of the cluster. It has a large, semi-compact or compact cluster and a small, sub-round berry with a yellowish-green pruinose skin. It has a mediocre vigour, a late bud-burs period and an average-to-late ripening time. Good yield. It is susceptible to botrytis and acid rot in humid and rainy zones. It produces golden-yellow wines, florally scented, to be consumed young since it lacks in structure.
