Codega Do Larinho
Grown in the north of Portugal, particularly in the Tras-os-Montes region, it has a large and compact cluster bearing a medium, rounded berry with a juicy and slightly aromatic pulp. Vine of average vigour and semi-upright growth habit, it has a medium-late budburst period. It is susceptible to downy mildew and little susceptible to botrytis and powdery mildew. This vine of medium yield has a medium ripening period. It produces wines of good complexity, with fruity (tropical) and floral hints, of not always enough freshness given its low acidity, but of optimal aromatic profile, for which it is recommended in blends with other vines.
