Trebbiano Spoletino
Grown only in some areas of the Southern part of the province of Perugia, its origin is almost unknown. It has a medium, cylindrical-conical, fairly tight cluster and a medium, yellowish berry with a very evident navel. The skin is thick, the pulp is juicy and simple tasting. Very vigorous and productive vine, with late bud-bursting period; it prefers mainly expanded training systems and medium-long pruning. The grape is often vinified with other varieties. It produces a wine of straw-yellow colour with greenish-yellow hues, with a characteristic aroma and a savoury astringent taste, sometimes a bit disharmonious.
