Ampelographic characters:

the bud has a high density of laying hairs. The leaves are three or five-lobed, with open petiolar sinus and medium-large teeth. The ribs have no anthocyanin pigmentation. The lower side has a low density of upright and laying hair. The cluster is medium in size. The elliptical shaped berry has a thin skin and a delicate muscat flavour.

Training system and pruning:

this vine has horizontal and semi-drooping growth habits; it needs therefore special care in canopy management and green pruning. It prefers medium-fertile soils and espalier or “pergola” systems.

Susceptibility to diseases and adverse conditions:

susceptible to powdery mildew and downy mildew. Conversely, it is not very susceptible to botrytis. It can show incompatibility phenomena if grafted on Kober 5BB.

Overall rating:

this table grape variety can also be used to make sparkling wines or fruit juices. It has a low sugar content and is not very rich in colour. Because of its thin skin it not very suited for long transports.

Medium-large bunch, pyramidal, slightly elongated, semi-loose, with two medium-long drooping wings. Medium-large berry, sub-elliptical, with a crunchy skin of uniform violet-black color, firm and juicy flesh, intense muscat flavor, with a high acidity level and excellent gustatory balance.

Medium-large berry, sub-elliptical, with a crunchy skin of uniform violet-black color, juicy flesh with an intense muscat flavor. Notable acidity level, which, together with the pronounced sweet sensation, ensures an excellent gustatory balance.
