Lattuario Nero (Regina Nera)
Black grape variety grown almost exclusively in Southern Italy. It has average-late bud-bursting time and it ripens about 150 days later. The average cluster weighs about 300g. The large oval berry has a thick and resistant skin, therefore, well apt to transport. The pulp is crunchy with a neutral taste. It is a vigorous vine that thrives on expanded systems of training such as espalier “tendone” thus giving a rich yield.
