Parraleta
Native variety grown in the D.O. Somontano (Aragon). It also seems to be cultivated in the old vineyards of the Rioja Alta with the name of Graciano, where it was used to support the structure of the Tempranillo or the Garnacha. The medium-sized clusters have a medium-high compactness. The berry is medium-sized and spherical. Averagely vigorous vine, with an upright growth habit and an medium-late budburst period. It is susceptible to powdery mildew. This moderately productive variety has medium-early ripening period. It produces wines of excellent acidity and good colour with fine aromas of red fruits, medium body, with sweet tannins, slightly spicy and fragrant. Suitable for aging.
