Pallagrello Nero
Vine variety currently widespread in some municipalities in the province of Caserta. It has a cylindrical cluster of average compactness, with no wings. The spherical berry has a thick, pruinose skin. The pulp is slightly coloured and has a neutral taste. It has a good vigour, average-early bud burst and late ripening. Good yield. It produces wines of intense ruby colour with an excellent aroma characterized by red fruits, tobacco and blackberry jam.
