Verdiso
Vine variety cultivated in the hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene. It has a medium, pyramidal, semi-compact cluster and a medium, sub-round, yellowish-green berry with soft skin and juicy pulp of slightly aromatic taste. Vine of medium vigour: it prefers well exposed hilly areas, medium fertility, possible not calcareous soils, medium systems of training and long pruning. In the well exposed hilly areas, it tends to produce a wine of straw-yellow colour, with a delicate, savoury and fresh aroma. Usually, it is vinified with other grapes, mainly with Glera.
