VEGETATIVE FEATURES

Leaf: large, wedge-shaped, whole, slightly three-lobed, with an open V-shaped petiolar sinus; the upper side is hairless and the flap is bullous, dark-green-colored, opaque; the lower side is bristly and green colored, with light-green ribs.
Woody shoot: long, branched, elastic, with prominent development of secondary shoots, hairless, dark purple-brown in color.

OTHER INFORMATION

Behavior in the nursery: it shows a slow/moderate growth resumption; it develops a strong root system mainly consisting of thin roots. In the nursery it guarantees medium-high yields.
Behavior in the propagation block: it postpones lignification and guarantees medium-high yields.
Behavior in the open field: it develops root systems preferably between 40 and 90 cm and even over 100 cm. It tendentially restrains production and vigor, thus promoting the accumulation of sugars, anthocyanins and polyphenols. Capable of maintaining excellent levels of acidity.
