Origin: Italy (Università degli Studi di Milano [DiSAA]1986).

VEGETATIVE FEATURES

Leaf: large, wedge-shaped, whole, slightly three-lobed, with an open V-U petiolar sinus; the upper side is hairless, and the flap is bullous, dark-green-colored, opaque; the lower side is bristly and green colored, with light-green ribs.
Woody shoot: very long, branched, with averagely developed secondary shoots, velvety, uniform, brown-red colored.

Behavior in the nursery: it shows a moderate vegetative resumption, a good development of the root system, with a prevalence of fleshy roots. In the nursery it guarantees high yields.
Behavior in the propagation block: it tends to early lignification; it is suitable to being raised sprawling on the ground: however, it guarantees medium to high yields with both breeding systems.
Behavior in the open field: it induces excellent vigor thus ensuring high yields; it is suitable to clayey-calcareous, compact soils, as well as to soils rich in skeleton and not very fertile.
