Durella
Vine originally from the hills of Vicenza, it has found limited areas of cultivation also in some hilly areas around Verona. The medium, stumpy, winged, a little compact cluster holds a medium, ovoidal and yellowish coloured berry with thick skin, juicy pulp and simple, acidulous taste. Vigorous vine variety, with late bud-bursting. It requires expanded training systems and long pruning. It produces a straw-yellow wine, not very alcoholic, rather acidic, delicately perfumed, suitable for sparkling wines.
Clones in propagation:
Durella VCR238, VCR239, VCR240, VCR468, ISVCVI6.
