Avesso
Variety grown in the region of Vinho Verde, Portugal. It has a medium-sized, conical, mediumcompact cluster. The berry is medium-sized and elliptical. This highly vigorous vine has a semi-upright growth habit and an early budburst period. Very susceptible to downy mildew, botrytis and powdery mildew. Adaptable to different training systems and pruning, although it prefers long ones. Vine of average yield, it has an early ripening period. It produces wines with slightly floral aromas, tending to fruity. The alcohol content is limited, the acidity is average. Excellent for fresh consumption.
