Ampelographic characters:
bud with green-brown apex and intensely pigmented edges. The open V-shaped petiolar sinus is medium-sized, five-lobed, cuneiform and has a dark-green rib. The cluster is medium-large and quite compact. It has a short, elliptic berry.
Cultural aptitude:
medium-high vigour and semi-upright growth habit.
Training system and pruning:
traditionally cultivated in gobelets, adaptable to espalier systems. It prefers medium-rich pruning.
Susceptibility to diseases and adverse conditions:
susceptible to powdery mildew, botrytis and grape leaf rust mite.
Enological potential:
it produces alcoholic wines with low acidity, pale yellow with greenish reflections in colour, with an intense and complex bouquet of ripe fruit (banana, apple) and, at the same time, vegetables that provide fresh and fruity notes. Thanks to its productivity, it can be used in the production of alcohol for brandy.
