In the VCR Comparison and Approval testing field, an aspiring Ortrugo VCR 143 clone is sprouting, despite the low temperatures of this strange 2021 spring. This year again, there are hundreds of selections waiting to undergo our agronomists’ and oenologists’ close scrutiny, in order to reach the echelon of the Italian National Registry of Vine Varieties.
